About us
Changing Rein was born from two friends wanting to help build a horse industry where both horses and people thrive.
Our goal is help horse owners, riders and organisations navigate change as they work towards an industry with horse welfare at its centre. We do this through bridging the gap between science and everyday practice with our podcast, webinars, workshops and consulting service.
Karen Luke, PhD
Karen is a lifelong horsewoman who grew up riding horses in the Australian bush. She loves eventing, although no longer competes. She has a PhD in equine welfare and human behaviour change.
Meta Osborne, MVB
Meta grew up on the Irish National Stud, and is a highly regarded equine reproduction vet with a Masters degree in Animal Welfare and Ethics from the University of Edinburgh.
